The Westmoor Rams entered their tilt with the Jefferson Grizzlies with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Westmoor walked away with a 59-46 win over Jefferson on Tuesday. For Westmoor, this counts as revenge for the 46-32 defeat Jefferson walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Jefferson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Grace Wang, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Wang hasn't dropped below two steals for 13 straight games. Princess Jane Warit was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Westmoor pushed their record up to 13-6 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Jefferson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.
Westmoor will be playing at home against Terra Nova at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jefferson, they will head out on the road to face off against Capuchino at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Jefferson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday.
