After flying high against Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy  last Wednesday, Twentynine Palms came back down to earth. Twentynine Palms fell  8-4 to the Vista del Lago Ravens on Friday. The Wildcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Twentynine Palms saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Michael Lopez, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  double. That  double marked the first that  Lopez  hit this season.
Twentynine Palms' defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Vista del Lago, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.
 Twentynine Palms will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coachella Valley at 3:15  p.m.  on April 7. As for Vista del Lago, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rancho Verde  at 3:15  p.m.  on Monday.
