The Millikan Rams will be taking part in a tournament against the Templeton Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Millikan will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
Millikan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Credo get on the board and left with a 27-0 victory on Tuesday. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by eight runs or more this season.
Daniel Steimke made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up a single hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Ian Carmona looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

Millikan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Credo struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Templeton came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Pirates 15-7.
Bo Swan and Charlie Dahlen did most of the damage at the plate: Swan got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Dahlen scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Templeton is undefeated when Dahlen posts two or more runs, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Andrew Raab, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.
Millikan's record is now 17-5. As for Templeton, their record now sits at 12-9.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Millikan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449. However, it's not like Templeton struggles in that department as they've averaged .431. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
