The Paradise Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight loss. They took a 52-36 bruising from East Nicolaus. Paradise has struggled against East Nicolaus recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
East Nicolaus was led to victory by Rylee Gillespie and Makinze Massey. Gillespie scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds, while Massey dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Massey is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played.
Paradise's defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.4 points per game. As for East Nicolaus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.
Paradise does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Nicolaus, they will head out on the road to take on Winters at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Winters will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something East Nicolaus surely won't give up without a fight.
