If Woodlake was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Lindsay on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers came up short against the Dinuba Emperors on Saturday, falling 7-1. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Woodlake saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Uziel Nanez, who went 2-for-4 with one double. That double marked the first that Nanez has hit this season.

Woodlake's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Dinuba, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-19.

Coming up, Woodlake will head out to challenge Strathmore at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Dinuba, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Lemoore at 7:00 p.m. The last four games the Tigers have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
