Rosemead is 0-10 against Marshall since May of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Rosemead is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Mountain View on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Logan Mojica was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Juleean Pinto, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Mojica wasn't the only one making solid contact: Rosemead kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Marshall had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Gabrielino with a sharp 9-3 victory. Considering Marshall has won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Nate Callaway was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
In other pitching news, Michael Gerst looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Trevor Lain, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Caleb Thatcher was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Marshall pushed their record up to 13-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Rosemead, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 5-11.
Rosemead might still be hurting after the 9-2 loss they got from Marshall in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Panthers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
