La Quinta's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 16-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.4 points per game. As for Santa Ana Valley, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 6-12.
 La Quinta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  41-6  win against Orange on the 10th. As for Santa Ana Valley, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  36-26  victory against Capistrano Valley on the 9th.
