Maple River's defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown might be getting used to good results now that the squad have five wins in a row. They came out on top against Le Sueur-Henderson by a score of 21-7.
Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's victory lifted them to 5-1 while Maple River's loss dropped them down to 5-1.
