Windsor has gone 9-1 against Roosevelt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wizards will take on the Roughriders at 10:00 a.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Windsor's tournament run continued when they took on Golden on Saturday. The Wizards were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Demons. The victory continues a trend for the Wizards in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won four in a row.

Jenna McGinnis was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in September. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Breckyn Billadeau was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Gabriela Wagner was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs.
Windsor always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Golden only posted an OBP of .167.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They put the hurt on Rifle with a sharp 25-18 win on Friday.
Roosevelt let Roz Muguerza and Mandi Linder run wild. Muguerza went 5-for-6 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles, while Linder went 3-for-6 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That home run was Linder's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Wiese, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, three runs, and one double.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 23-2.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Windsor has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .465. However, it's not like Roosevelt struggles in that department as they've averaged .465. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Windsor's way against Roosevelt when the teams last played back in August of 2023, as Windsor made off with a 12-3 victory. Will the Wizards repeat their success, or do the Roughriders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
