Quartz Hill is 10-0 against Palmdale since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Quartz Hill Royals will be playing at home against the Palmdale Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Quartz Hill will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
On Saturday, Quartz Hill didn't have too much trouble with Victor Valley at home as they won 49-33. The victory was just what Quartz Hill needed coming off of a 56-26 loss in their prior game.
Quartz Hill relied on the efforts of Ashantee Palmer, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and four steals, and Mandy Frozina, who scored 19 points along with seven steals and five assists. Frozina has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alonna Rollins, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Palmdale's recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Highland, falling 54-12. While losing is never fun, Palmdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 996th, while Highland is ranked 257th).
Quartz Hill has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Palmdale, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Quartz Hill against Palmdale when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 49-15 win. With Quartz Hill ahead 37-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
