That was a full 52.5% of Bella Vista's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Eva Jensen, who scored eight points along with 15 rebounds.
Bella Vista struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as River Valley racked up 11 assists.
River Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tanvi Joshi out in front who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avneeth Gill, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Bella Vista has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for River Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-10.
Bella Vista will be playing at home against Woodcreek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodcreek presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Bella Vista in California (Woodcreek is ranked 229th, while Bella Vista is ranked 812th). As for River Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roseville is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
