After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chestnut Ridge, Everett was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Tussey Mountain Titans as they made off with an 8-2 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Lane Whitfield, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Spade, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Everett's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Tussey Mountain, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.
