Adrian Sauceda Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Pace got the W thanks in part to Adrian Sauceda playing the best football he has all season. Sauceda rushed for 281 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 148 or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

Eddie Slovak posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 236 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 110 rushing yards in the fifth games prior.
On the year, Slovak has averaged 36.6 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he was only averaging 97.6 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 169.2 rushing yards.

On Saturday, Edcouch-Elsa got the W thanks in part to Elijah Trevino playing the best football he has all season. Trevino rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 51 yards.
Trevino must have Porter's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Trevino saw the Cowboys), he threw for 286 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
