Texas High School Football - Pace beat Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest

The Pace Vikings football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas to 20 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edcouch-Elsa for a 5A-2 Region IV District 16 test on Friday, October 25. Pace will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 45-0 league win over Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-2.

With the defeat, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Javelinas host Mercedes (Mercedes, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A-2 Region IV District 16 test on Thursday, October 24. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 4-3. Mercedes won 41-38 in their recent league test against Lopez (Brownsville, TX)
