In Thursday's league game, the Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) football team edged the host Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX), by a tally of 24-21.

In their next game, the Lobos battle the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets (Edcouch, TX) in a 5A-2 Region IV District 16 game, on Thursday, November 7. Lopez will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record.
