Canoga Park suffered their biggest defeat since November 16, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 58-19 loss at the hands of Sylmar. Canoga Park has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Van Nuys pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Canoga Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.
Everything came up roses for Van Nuys against Canoga Park in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 62-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Van Nuys since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
