Dewey came tearing into  Friday's  match with four straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Vinita Hornets get on the board and left with  a   13-0  victory. The Bulldoggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven  runs or more this season.
 Kyla Overton was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted  over her last 14  contests.
 In other batting news,  Londyn Bond was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, five  RBI,  and three  runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most  hits  she has posted  over her last 11  matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of  Aubree Bellar, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Dewey  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in eight consecutive  games.
Dewey's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Vinita,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-12.
 Looking ahead, Dewey will challenge Adair at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Vinita, they will head out to  challenge Grove  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
