Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miramonte). They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the Berkeley Yellowjackets on Saturday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-0.

Miramonte hit Berkeley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sadie Leal-Schuman (3), Katrina White (2), and Jordan Mathews.

Miramonte pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those three contests. As for Berkeley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Miramonte will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. As for Berkeley, they will be home for the holidays to greet Carondelet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
