Calvary Baptist hasn't had much luck against Bethel Christian recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Calvary Baptist Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Bethel Christian Kings at 6:00 p.m. Calvary Baptist is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
On Friday, Calvary Baptist made easy work of Entrepreneur and carried off a 46-26 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Camila Rodriguez had an outrageously good game as she dropped a triple-double on 15 points, 19 rebounds, and 16 steals. Those 19 boards gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylin Crewse, who almost dropped a triple-double on 11 points, nine assists, and ten steals.
Calvary Baptist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 27 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in ten consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Bethel Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 21-19 heartbreaker at the hands of The Grove School.
Calvary Baptist will need focus on slowing down Leah Lopez, one of several Bethel Christian players who made an impact when they last played. She posted seven points along with ten rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Kaila Ellison, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten steals.
Calvary Baptist's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.7 points per game. As for Bethel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Calvary Baptist has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bethel Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.5 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Calvary Baptist strolled past Bethel Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 37-19. The rematch might be a little tougher for Calvary Baptist since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
