Coventry Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caitlin Cianci, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Cianci has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Abby McCafferty, who scored three points along with 12 rebounds and seven blocks.
Coventry Christian's lineup was just a bit different on Friday as Cianci got a bit more time on the court (29 vs. her season average of 12.2). Cianci made the most of the opportunity, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
