Saint Francis is 8-0-2 against Presentation since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. Last Saturday, Saint Francis faced Archbishop Mitty in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Saint Francis never let Archbishop Mitty onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Saint Francis' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five contests.
Meanwhile, Presentation has not won a game since January 17th, a trend which continued on Saturday. They and Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory finished up their matchup with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Presentation's first draw of the season.
Their goal came courtesy of
Meredith Matsumoto, who's now up to two this season.
Saint Francis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-1-2 record this season. Presentation's draw gives them a new season record of 11-7-1.
