Twelve Bridges has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Colfax Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Twelve Bridges will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 698th, while Colfax is ranked 64th).
On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Twelve Bridges beat Center 48-44.
In what's become a running theme this season, Colfax gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 78-41 victory over Sutter on the road. The win was familiar territory for Colfax who now have three in a row.
Twelve Bridges' victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-16. As for Colfax, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-2 record this season.
Twelve Bridges was taken down by Colfax 56-21 when the teams last played back in January. Can Twelve Bridges avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
