The Spring-Ford Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 67-10 win over Norristown. With that victory, Spring-Ford brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.
Anna Azzara was her usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Spring-Ford's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Solliday, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Spring-Ford's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Norristown, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Spring-Ford will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against Neumann-Goretti at 12:00 p.m. on December 17th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Pennsylvania (Neumann-Goretti is ranked 58th, while Spring-Ford is ranked 44th). Norristown will be home for the holidays to greet Methacton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Methacton comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
