The Eastside Lions waltzed into their game Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Littlerock on the road to the tune of 73-17. With Eastside ahead 40-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aprill Medrano, who scored 13 points. Dominique Burnett was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Eastside has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Littlerock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will be home for the holidays to greet Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Highland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Eastside in California (Highland is ranked 137th, while Eastside is ranked 434th). Littlerock will be home for the holidays to greet Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
