The Marshall Rams will head out to  challenge the Holmes Huskies  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Marshall and seven for Holmes.

He rushed for 163 yards and one  touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 65 yards and one  TD. Hopkins' longest rush was for an impressive 62 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was  Deonta Corley, who picked up 154 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Holmes, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Marshall beat Holmes 37-27  in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
