With a playoff win on the line, Victory Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They breezed past the Del Norte Nighthawks to the tune of 56-28. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on eight straight.
It was another big night for Mai'ana Norita, who posted 18 points in addition to eight assists and eight boards. Those eight assists gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Marisol Gomez, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.
Victory Christian Academy pushed their record up to 15-13 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. As for Del Norte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season.
