The Paradise Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 44-22 defeat at the hands of Colusa. Paradise has struggled against Colusa recently, as their matchup on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Paradise still got an impressive performance from Nyah Baker, who scored 12 points.
It was another big night for Danica Chavez, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and two steals for Colusa. The team also got some help courtesy of Alena Sanchez, who scored seven points.
Paradise's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-13. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.2 points per game. As for Colusa, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

Paradise is facing Live Oak at the right time seeing as Live Oak is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Colusa, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against East Nicolaus at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Colusa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
