Carmel is 8-0 against Heritage Christian since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Carmel Greyhounds will head out on the road to square off against the Heritage Christian Eagles at 1:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Carmel is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Center Grove on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Carmel lost 62-38 to Center Grove. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Greyhounds have suffered since December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Heritage Christian suffered their closest defeat since December 19, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory by a score of 54-52.

Carmel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Carmel came out on top in a nail-biter against Heritage Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 41-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carmel since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
