Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfax). They blew past the Metro Tech Knights 69-43 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Stampede also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Metro Tech lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Anthony Campos, who posted eight points and five steals. Those five steals gave Campos a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Yahir Monroy, who put up five points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Fairfax and bumps their season record up to 4-8. As for Metro Tech, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Fairfax wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 78-41 defeat against Central on the 16th. As for Metro Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-44 loss against Alhambra on the 17th.
