In Friday's league contest, the host Fairfax Stampede basketball team scored a big 69-43 triumph over the Metro Tech Knights.

With the victory, Fairfax advances its record to 4-8 on the year. The Stampede host Central (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Bobcats in a 5A Metro battle on Monday, December 16. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 9-1. Central won 92-32 in their recent league battle against Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ)
