Arizona High School Basketball - La Joya Community triumphant over Metro Tech

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) and the visiting Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), observed La Joya Community's basketball team overwhelm Metro Tech by a score of 64-27.

The Fighting Lobos (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ). The Aztecs come into the 5A Central Valley challenge with a 10-8 record.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Metro Tech will attempt to improve on its 1-24 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 8-15 record after their 55-45 league win over Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ).
