Arizona High School Basketball - La Joya Community crushes Glendale

The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Glendale Cardinals (Glendale, AZ), 70-37 in Friday's league bout.

The Fighting Lobos now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Independence for a 5A Central Valley bout on Tuesday, February 4. La Joya Community will play a Patriots team coming off a 58-31 non-league win over Greenway (Phoenix, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Glendale falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Central Valley bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-14. Sierra Linda lost 65-44 in their recent league bout against Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ)
