The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos were victorious over the host Independence Patriots basketball squad by a final score of 60-44 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Fighting Lobos clash with the Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A Central Valley outing, on Tuesday, January 21. La Joya Community will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Aztecs enter the outing with a 8-5 record after their 68-48 league loss to Washington (Phoenix, AZ).
