The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) and the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ), observed Independence's basketball team knock off Copper Canyon by a score of 62-54.

The Patriots (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington (Phoenix, AZ). The Rams come into the 5A Central Valley challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Washington prevailed over Glendale (Glendale, AZ), 64-40, in a league challenge.
