The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ), observed Thunderbird's basketball team edge La Joya Community by a score of 44-43.

The Titans (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Willow Canyon edged South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ), 68-56, in a non-league challenge.
