The Copper Canyon Aztecs bounced the visiting Metro Tech Knights basketball squad by a final score of 70-36 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Aztecs clash with the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Central Valley outing, on Friday, January 17. Copper Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Rams come into the outing with a 4-6 record after their 81-36 non-league loss to Central (Phoenix, AZ).

The Knights (1-18) will now prepare for their outing against McClintock (Tempe, AZ). The Chargers go into the 5A Metro contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, McClintock was trounced by Canyon View (Waddell, AZ), 80-50, in a non-league contest.
