After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Fayette Valley, Aplington-Parkersburg was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Independence Mustangs as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering Aplington-Parkersburg have won 15 contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Aplington-Parkersburg has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2-1 record this season. As for Independence, they dropped their record down to 3-15-1 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road.
