Archie Williams saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hugo Slavinsky, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. August Block was another, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
As for San Marin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-11. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.
On San Marin's side, Jack Singleton looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Singleton posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April.
