They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Vanguard Christian 100-42 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Sunnybrook Christian sure is getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Sunnybrook Christian was led to victory by Gabe Minica and Christian Huber. Minica scored 25 points, while Huber scored 34 points. Huber has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Bard, who scored 13 points.
Vanguard Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Thomas Huron, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joshua Robertson, who scored ten points.
Sunnybrook Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-2 record this season. As for Vanguard Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-7.
Sunnybrook Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Lifegate Christian at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Sunnybrook Christian is coming into the match with ten straight wins on the road, so Lifegate Christian is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Vanguard Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McCauley Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Vanguard Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Monday.
