There's no place like home for Elgin, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. They never let the Lawton Wolverines get on the board and left with  a   10-0  victory  on Thursday. The Owls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 The team  relied heavily on  Kynli Garrett, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ella Melton, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
Elgin has  been performing  well recently as they've  won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lawton,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elgin will venture away from home to  challenge Noble  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Lawton, they will challenge Putnam City at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
