Red Cloud Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Connor Rust
Connor Rust's big game helped extend Red Cloud's winning streak to six on Friday. Rust did his part (and then some), rushing for 102 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 58 receiving yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 61 yards.
Red Cloud pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Rust and Red Cloud will venture away from home to challenge Dorchester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On the season, Ely has averaged 25.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to 14.

Hunter Englehart's big game helped extend Red Cloud's winning streak to six on Friday. Englehart did his part (and then some), rushing for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also made four total tackles and defended a pass.
For the season, Englehart has averaged 17.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after six games last season, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 11.
