It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Summit SkyHawks can now relate to. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Saturday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Silverado to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elizabeth Udeze, who scored 17 points. Udeze is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last 17 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Rincon, who scored 14 points.
Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Silverado, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-7.
Summit does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Silverado, they will face off against Oak Park at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Park will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Silverado surely won't give up without a fight.
