Van Nuys is 10-0 against Reseda since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Van Nuys Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Reseda Regents at 5:00 p.m. Van Nuys is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Last Wednesday, Van Nuys came up short against Kennedy and fell 56-43.
Meanwhile, Reseda didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Canoga Park on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 35-30 victory. The victory was just what Reseda needed coming off of a 67-22 loss in their prior match.
Van Nuys' loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-2. As for Reseda, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
Everything came up roses for Van Nuys against Reseda when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 72-25 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Van Nuys since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
