After flying high against Grier last Monday, the Blair County Christian Bobcats came back down to earth. Blair County Christian took a 31-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of DuBois Christian on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Blair County Christian of the 19-17 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Blair County Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gabi Dull, who scored four points along with four steals and two blocks. Dull is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lydia Hileman, who scored four points along with three steals.
Blair County Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for DuBois Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Blair County Christian will be playing at home against Johnstown Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for DuBois Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 26.4 points per game this season, so DuBois Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
