It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the De Anza Dons had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 5-1 win. The result was nothing new for De Anza, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.
They hit Bethel with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Ivoire Arrington (3),
Alanna Cabras, and
Alinah Aguilar.
The victory was the sixth in a row for De Anza, bringing their record for this year to 12-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those six games. As for Bethel, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-1.
De Anza does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bethel also has no future games currently scheduled.
