Baseball Recap: Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy Takes a Loss

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy suffered their biggest loss since February 19th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Elbert County Blue Devils, falling 13-2. The defeat continues a trend for Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy in their meetings with Elbert County: they've now lost seven in a row.

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Forsythe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Forsythe is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another was Colt Clark, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Elbert County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-4.

While Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
