Softball Recap: Sequoyah Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

The matchup between Sequoyah and Milton on Monday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Chiefs were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Eagles. The Chiefs not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 16th (when they won 17-4).

Sequoyah's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12. As for Milton, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9.

Coming up, Sequoyah will venture away from home to face off against Creekview at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Grizzlies' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Chiefs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Milton, they will welcome St. Francis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
