Evans put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Cross Creek Razorbacks a 15-0 shutout. That looming 15-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Knights yet this season.

Hannah Claire Standefer looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Kimariya Hinton was incredible, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brittney Smith, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Evans hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in eight consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Evans' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Cross Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Evans will take on Grovetown at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cross Creek, they will be playing at home against Josey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
