After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Clovis East, Liberty was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 15-1 margin over the Firebaugh Eagles. With that victory, the Hawks brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Xaviar Gordon, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Deegan Shandor, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Liberty always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Liberty's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. As for Firebaugh, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
