The San Jacinto Tigers fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They claimed a resounding 52-19 victory over Redlands East Valley on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-10.
San Jacinto was led to victory by Mary Oziengbe and Luv'lee Sadler. Oziengbe scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds, while Sadler scored 16 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds. The game was Sadler's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Keyera Cameron, who scored 7 points along with 3 steals.
San Jacinto's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Redlands East Valley, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
San Jacinto will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Redlands at 10:00 a.m. on December 2nd. Redlands comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Redlands East Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Twentynine Palms at 6:45 p.m.
